About Us

Jack.org is Canada’s only charity that is training and empowering young people to revolutionize the way people think about mental health. Through facilitating Jack Talks and Jack Summits, they are putting young leaders forward to break down barriers in communities.

Here at the University of Ottawa Jack.org chapter, we are working to make our campus a safe and open place where students aren’t afraid to talk about mental health. We are working to make a community where students can get access to services without any shame or judgement. Our goal is to create a campus where students have easy and equitable access to high quality mental health services, any time they’re needed.

1 in 5 people have mental illness, but 5 in 5 people have mental health.

We won't stop until every young person in Canada that needs help gets the support they deserve.

Our Mission
